During the workshop, participants will:
- Learn and practice various IVTV roles, including anchoring, Tricaster operation, prompting, sound engineering, and more!
- Plan and create segments for our LIVE show on Friday.
This workshop is perfect for:
- Incoming 6th graders to IVMS who want to become familiar with IVTV, IVMS, and meet future classmates.
- Incoming 7th graders who want a head start with Premiere Pro before learning it in Tech Ed.
- Incoming 8th graders who aspire to become IVTV and Premiere Pro experts!
- Incoming 9th graders who want to prepare for Red Alert at SAHS!
- Anyone interested in growing their self-confidence, having fun while making new friends, or learning about technology!
Grades Completed 5th – 8th (Incoming 6th, 7th, 8th, and 9th graders)
AM Workshop: The morning session is TV Production focus with the end goal being filming a live show on Friday morning. 9AM - 12PM
PM Workshop: The afternoon session is Adobe focused where each day we learn about a different Adobe App. Adobe Premiere Pro is a widely used video editing software, offering tools for both professional video editors and hobbyists to create visually compelling content, that all SASD students have access to. Students learn how to use Premiere Pro in 7th Grade Tech Ed and use it in Red Alert at SAHS.
