In commemoration of the anniversary of Abraham Lincoln’s visit to Gettysburg in November of 1863, come join historical military re-enactor, lecturer and tour guide Michael Jesberger for a presentation on Abraham Lincoln and his visit to Gettysburg.
This education presentation will discuss the personal side of President Abraham Lincoln and his Gettysburg Address. The talk will discuss the difficulties he was facing with family tragedies and illnesses, the toll years of war had on the President, and the speech that marked the turning point in his spiritual life and the American Civil War. Trip cancellations must be received one month before departure of trip. If SACE cancels a class a total refund is issued.
